"Where there's Smoke there's fire"
Beating the ladder with Smoke was quite a bit harder than I anticipated it would be. He seems like my kind of character, fitting my style with tools I could use to beat the AI, but it isn't quite so. His teleport move seems a bit slower than most, as my opponents managed to block it very consistently, and he can still be hit during it before he actually teleports. Eventually I fought my way to victory with whatever random moves I managed to string together. Only Shao Kahn was easy, considerably easier than even with Reptile. Smoke's Teleport both dodges whatever Kahn is trying to do and deals damage to him at the same time. It's ridiculous how fast the fight went with it.
