Crop of the cream

I have avoided assigning ratings to the games I have listed in Backloggery. I don't think it's constructive or fair to reduce a game to a mere number like that. Still, today I decided to give a rating to the best games. I figured I wanted a quick access to listing my very favourite games. To achieve this, I gave those games a five star rating.

When I say "one of my favourite games", what I mean is something that blowed my mind one way or the other when I first played it through. For now, I went with "first impressions" and based the rating on how I felt during my first playthrough. I have not adjusted the selection based on my what I currently think about the games. The list would look a little different otherwise. I'll consider this issue and might change it in the future to make the list reflect my current thoughts more.

Note that this does not mean I actually rate those games at five starts on a 0-5 scale. It's just meant to be a easily accessible list of my favourite games.
