Yet again I find myself in a situation where I really don't have the possibility to play any games. I'm in a new country, surrounded with all new people and places, and my life as a whole is pretty much upside down in many ways. For the last month I pretty much forgot video games and backloggery even existed.
Now things are slowly starting to settle down and I'm finding myself with the desire to play some games again. Unfortunately I don't have the opportunity. I don't have any kind of gaming device available to me right now, and that's very likely gonna be the status quo for the next 8 or so months.
I'll still try to keep up with gaming news and check what's going on in the Backloggery. I don't want to be blindsided by dozens of juicy new releases when I get back to my own devices. I still might pop in and comment on your gaming in your Backloggery page. I just can't play anything myself right now.
As far as what I've been paying attention to lately, I discovered >>>a skill calculator for Diablo III<<<. I started craving for more information about the game so I dug out some >>>Diablo III beta live streams<<<. I'm not sure what to think about it, on one hand it seems bigger, badder and better than ever. On the other, it also looks like it will be really repetitive and get boring quite quick, just like the predecessor. Which did not prevent me from forgetting about life and losing my soul to the previous game in the series. I'm not sure if I dare to buy the third instance at all, I just might get addicted...
I did notice I have preordered the game a year or two ago. It was much cheaper to order it that much ahead of time, so I'll pay much less for it than if I ordered it now. Basically if I decide I want the game, I need to do nothing and let the preorder get to me when the game is released. If I decide I don't want to lose my soul to the demons of Hell I'll just cancel the preorder. I wonder how much time I have to decide...
Then again if (when) they announce a special edition, I know I'll want that instead, so I'll probably end up having to cancel my preorder anyways and order the fancy edition instead.
